A severe storm hit Katsina State's Funtua Local Government Area, destroying school buildings and staff quarters. The Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education expressed sympathy for those affected and assured support. Commissioner Zainab Musawa urged schools to maintain academic continuity despite the damage. The ministry is assessing the damage and will provide updates on relief measures.
