The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has described former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as one of the most corrupt people.

Wike disclosed this while featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday.

According to Wike: “He (Amaechi) is one of the most corrupt people.”

When asked if he is corrupt, Wike denied being corrupt but insisted that he likes money.

He said: “When you use the word corrupt, no court has found me guilty of corruption.

“I like money; nobody can do without money. You can’t say because I said I need money to solve problems, therefore, I’m corrupt. No.

“I need money to pay my children’s school fees. I need money for my family’s healthcare. Does that make me corrupt? No.”

He also described Amaechi as a liar for saying he does not like money.

“But when a man comes to the public to say, ‘I don’t like money,’ you know he is a big liar because he needs money to solve his problems.
