The Atiku Foundation has awarded fully-funded scholarships to three Nigerian teenagers, Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Fema, and Khadija Kalli, who emerged as global winners at the TeenEagle Global Finals. These exceptional students demonstrated outstanding skills in English language communication, debate, and critical thinking, outshining over 20,000 participants from 69 countries ¹ ².
The scholarships will cover the remainder of their secondary education and university studies at any institution of their choice. This is a remarkable opportunity for these talented young Nigerians to pursue their academic dreams without financial burdens ¹ ².
The Atiku Abubakar Foundation's gesture is a testament to its commitment to promoting quality education, particularly for girls and vulnerable groups. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has consistently emphasized the importance of investing in girl-child education, stating that it has a profound impact on the future of families and communities ³ ⁴.
This achievement has also drawn praise from other prominent figures, including President Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi, who have congratulated the students on their outstanding performance .
