Phil Collins is revisiting his seminal 1993 album “Both Sides” with a special 30th-anniversary box set to commemorate this significant milestone.

In an official announcement made on his Instagram account on Friday, July 12th, Collins shared the exciting details of this deluxe reissue. “In celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Phil Collins’ fifth studio album ‘Both Sides,’ it will be reissued on September 20th as a special edition 5-LP box set, ‘Both Sides (All The Sides).’ Available for pre-order now at the link in bio,” he wrote in the caption.

The lavish box set, to be released via Rhino Records, will feature a total of five vinyl records, offering fans a comprehensive look into the making of this acclaimed album. Providing an insider’s perspective, Collins further elaborated on the contents of this deluxe edition:

“This definitive vinyl deluxe edition compiles the remastered original album (cut at half speed by Miles Showell at @abbeyroadstudios), plus demos, b-sides, live cuts and rarities for the first time on vinyl. All housed in a slipcase with picture sleeves and a 16-page booklet containing newly written liner notes by music journalist @michael_hann_writer.”

For the uninitiated, “Both Sides” was originally released in 1993 and has since been hailed as one of Phil Collins’ most beloved and personal albums. The musician himself has openly declared it as his “favorite album,” underscoring the deep personal significance it holds for him.
