Boxer Ryan Garcia, known as “KingRy,” has released a heartfelt two-minute apology video directed primarily at his ex-wife Andrea Celina, days after a disturbing video allegedly showing him vandalizing her home went viral online.
In the emotional video, the 25-year-old Californian boxer expresses deep remorse for his past actions and announces that he is seeking professional help to address his personal struggles.
“I came on here just to say I’m sorry. Andrea, you’re the mother of my children and somebody I’ll always have love and respect for,” Garcia said solemnly. “I retract all my previous statements about her. She never stole money from me. She never did wrong by me. She never cheated on me.”
Garcia continued, “We weren’t together at the time, so right there, she’s not a cheater. She’s a great woman, and I’m sorry for the pain I’ve caused her.”
This apology follows a series of troubling allegations that the 24-1 boxer berated Celina for supposedly cheating on him and then proceeded to cause extensive damage to their shared home. Garcia has also been accused of recklessly destroying parts of the property during the incident.
