Rapper Safaree has candidly shared his experiences and emotions following the end of his relationship with Nicki Minaj and her subsequent high-profile romance with fellow artist Meek Mill.
In a recent interview on the “We In Miami” podcast, Safaree reflected on how the public scrutiny and attention surrounding Nicki and Meek’s relationship took a toll on him during that period.
“When me and Nicki first broke up and she got with Meek and they were, like, the biggest in the world and we was all beefing and shit. You gotta think about — I had two of the biggest people in the world against me,” Safaree explained.
He went on to describe how this challenging dynamic impacted his career and personal life, saying, “That meant everybody would be against me, so nobody wanted to be next to me. Nobody wanted to work with me or none of that shit. So it just made everything hard and that shit that was a dark time for me.”
